About PS9Pets

PS9Pets is a pet supply shop on North 9th Street in Brooklyn. Online we carry the four things that actually get used: grooming, feeding, travel and the walk.

A short shelf, used hard

Deshedding brushes, finger toothbrushes, elevated bowls, absorbent mats, booster seats, extendable barriers, retractable leads and training bells. That is most of the catalogue, and it is deliberately most of the catalogue. These are the items a household replaces, loses or wears out, and stocking a handful of good versions is more useful than carrying nine of each and describing none of them properly.

What we keep in stock

  • Deshedding brushes, combs, dryers and dental tools
  • Elevated stands, stainless bowls and absorbent mats
  • Booster seats, quilted covers and extendable barriers
  • Retractable leads and potty training bells
  • Toy sets, scratchers and rodent chew kits
  • Waste bag dispensers for walks and litter trays

Rated weights mean rated weights

Boosters and barriers carry a manufacturer's weight limit, and we put that number in the product title rather than leaving it to a photograph of a large dog. If a listing does not state a limit, we have not been given one, and the product should be treated as a comfort item rather than a restraint. The same applies to grooming blades: coat type and blade width are on the page, because the wide dog blades are too coarse for most cats.

Ordering and returns

Orders ship within the United States and prices are in US dollars. Standard shipping is the only method offered; the handling and transit windows are on the shipping policy page. Grooming tools that have touched an animal cannot be resold and cannot be returned. Unopened items in original packaging are covered by the return and refund policy.
